NATIONAL CROATIAN WINE DAY
Jersey City, NJ (U.S.A.) – July 1, 2020: It is official! ‘National Croatian Wine Day’ is now a registered wine holiday in the U.S. Each year, on June 25, we will celebrate Croatia by sipping unique wines from this distinctive country.
National Croatian Wine Day celebrates Croatia’s Independence Day on June 25, the day where the Croatian Parliament declared its independence from the Republic of Yugoslavia in 1991. National Croatian Wine Day highlights Croatia’s unique wine history dating back to 2,500 years. Croatia has over 1200 islands and a crystal-clear sea. Croatia is also home to an estimated 120 indigenous grape varietals and four key wine regions: Croatian Uplands, Dalmatia, Istria and Kvarner, and Slavonia and Croatian Danube; 16 sub-regions and 66 appellations, producing wines exhibiting an array of styles from unique terroirs, all of which are worthy of our attention.
Anna M. Viducic, Founder of Aroma Wine Co. said: “Born into a Croatian family and raised in Paris, France, I have spent most of my summer vacations in Croatia, enjoying everything that the country has to offer, including working in my family’s vineyards. Wine is in my DNA, and I am making it my mission to promote Croatian wines globally.”
Aroma Wine Co reflects Anna’s passion for the wine industry, but more importantly, it demonstrates her love for meeting the talented people behind the scenes. Anna is also tapping into her 20-plus years of experience and knowledge of the hospitality and wine industries to guide French and Croatian wineries through the intricacies of the U.S. trade, media, and consumer markets.
